Drove to Florida's Gulf of Mexico also known as the Emerald Coast, I can see why beautiful white beaches with emerald water.
Looks a little messy back there ;)
Look at the school of fish in the waves there were hundreds of them. They would surf right close to shore, they were about a foot and a half in size.
The road to arrive at the campsite is so narrow and often floods, one of the warnings in the package is to be ready to evacuate in case of bad weather due to flooding. The parks that we visited had board walks to the beach.
There is a slight shadow behind them
IT IS A SHARK ON THE ATTACK!!!!
It just grabbed one of the fish feet from shore, it look to be about 4 to 5 feet in length
I was really excited to be able to catch this on film just happen to have my camera out and Bob noticed the fish coming in. I understand why they say not to swim at dust, night or dawn.
Beautiful campground large private sites, washers and dryers, wifi and a beautiful beach! Close to town with a Walmart on the corner.
Another beautiful place, we were surprised that there was a bridge to this remote area.
Dangerous Marine Life ok lets go swimming
Fishing for sharks, he said he caught a 4 foot one that morning (yes we were swimming down from them, but keeping an eye out)
Left the Emerald Coast and moved to Manatee Springs State Park
Arrived at Yellow jacket (private campground very nice) on Suwanee River hoping to see a Manatee
Moved to the State Park were the Manatee go for the winter since the spring is warm
I suffer from this
Swimming area Sabrina is coming up to the spring
The next day when the girls were swimming snorkelers came up from the under water caverns, one of them noticed an alligator on the far corner and mentioned to the girls not to go in that section, we thought it was best to get out.
Moved on to the East Coast Atlantic ocean stayed at Sebastian Inlet State Park
Great place beautiful the waves were perfect for surfing and boogie boarding.
The premier fishing spot on Florida's east coast they catch snook, redfish, bluefish and Spanish macherel. They use shrimp for bate!
This park also has Noseehem little wee bugs that bite like black flies ouch!!!!
Moving on to Disney looking forward to seeing Michele, Mike and Joelle
