Coast of Pacific Hwy 101

Left Yellowstone park to get to the coast and hwy 101, stayed at Boise in Meridian KOA then Driftwood RV, both had indoor pools which was great the lady at Driftwood was really helpful with maps and had a printer to print out the girls home work great place.
Arrived in Cannon Beach rv resort, another indoor pool yay!  Especially since the weather has been so poor.  A storm hit the coast and lasted about 3 days, strong winds as you can see from some of the pictures.

This is Astoria cool little seaside town, we ate lunch and had award winning chowder, very good!

Amazing bridge

In construction ?

So windy probably not such a good idea to be out here.

On the beach in Cannon

Just crazy

Hold on Sabrina

Well Shabby needed a rain coat

The expression on her face might suggest otherwise

Love these tunnels

Driving south on the coast to Depot Bay

Bicyclers from Vancouver muscles and nerves of steel

Letter in the hill again

Great place loved watching and learning about the making of cheese.  So good!!!

Best view from campsite Sea and Sand

The place is made in three tiers looking at the ocean.  The waves were huge kicked up by the storm , they sounded like the storm from the nights before.  Julia had a little unexpected dowsing when a wave caught her.

I just love the waves hence so many pics

Heard barking in Portland fishing area and found the sea lions very cool.  We bought some shrimp from a local store were they process them right there.

Met some awesome people they invited us over to try some oyster shooters.  They were really good!  They also gave us some good info on where to stay closer to San Fransisco and Los Angelos
Oysters with shrimp sauce with lemon (passed on the tequila)

Didn't like to much I thought they were great

Ooops once more ... we are suppose to be on that road but are way up on this very narrow road going up and up fortunately there was some construction and we were able to turn around barely.

Was able to get some great shots!

Vegetation chances again to these beautiful old growth forests.

Take a look at the branches, they call these trees since they grow straight upwards and have roots this tree has 12!
