Yellowstone geysers, canyons and mud pots

In Yellowstone park

Not sure if pronghorn or mule dear

I was talking to this elk so beautiful

Sign reads "Pungent sulphur smells hint at the seething muddy hydrothermal wonders", hence Sabrina's solution.  The smell was terrible, Bob actually felt sick.

squirrel do do that close to trail we wonder how many fall into the mud

Upper Canyon

Grand Canyon lookout

Eagle's nest

Bob believes that this lookout will fall some day soon

so sweet love the baby mule dear

many fly fishermen

We stayed at Grizzly rv park in WestYellowstone  nice paved spots but expensive 60 some dollars a night. The park campsites were all booked (in September!), it all worked out the Grizzly park was just 14 miles out of the park and was beautiful.  They had a nice Game room for the girls and free hot chocolate (yep they loved that)  wish they stayed open a bit longer the office and game room closed at 4:30.  On the road for Canon Beach on the coast, we have to get out of here before the snow.  The weather is 20 degree below normal and are calling for 10 inches of snow !!!!

Took some pictures on the road, the landscape was amazing.

water bottle clasped in and out (twice) during our drive up and down the mountains my shoulder was in pain as well

We are in the clouds

Girls still seem to be enjoying

This sign made us laugh and worry it reads "2nd warning 6 miles ...." they had 1st, 2nd and last warning signs !!! The hill wasn't that bad and the road was good, I guess Bob has gotten use to driving on crazy roads the sign "Chain on area ahead" is always a concern.

focused

yikes

Take a good look I wish I could zoom in this is in Portland that blue truck has its front tire over the railing close to driving right off that overpass.

So many highways

In the mountain we go

The vegetation changes again beautiful huge trees and I tried to get a picture of the moss I hope we will hike the area

We laughed again and wondered what was to come, really
what does that mean?

Here is a film of a geyser at the end it is higher.
Added a second one of Grand geyser below
We are in Canon beach today Saturday the 28th and what a storm. It has been raining all night and it is suppose to get worse this afternoon through to tomorrow, storm warnings of wind and flooding ... we are going out to see the ocean waves that are huge, Bob looked around our campsite  not too many big trees.  The wind on the coast is suppose to be 80mph !!!???
